99 Bose display works no sound????
I recently got a 99 Bose to change my 96 Bose in my 1996 I30t. The plugs are the same and people have done this switch before. When I hooked it up it works, cd function, radio, but no sound at all. The How to in the 4th gen section have the 95-98 Bose radio but no 99. The 99 is totally different, I took it apart and couldn't notice anything wrong. I also took apart my 96 Bose as how to states and fixed the on/off display problem that I was having and the reason I bought the 99. Atleast the 96 works now, there was slight rust on the display resistor, I sanded it off, cleaned. Now the display is brighter and works all the time. But I really want to fix the 99 if it is easy as my 96 was to fix. Anyone know how to fix the 99 Bose no sound problem? Please help me out if you know any sites or anyone who can help me out on the org. thanks alot everyone

Just to let you know, they refunded my money for the 99 and let me keep it. This is the second time I got refunded and got to keep the item. I really want to fix this 99 Bose now that it is free. Any help...it's completely taken apart and trying to figure it out.
