5-Channel Amps...suggestions.

Throw out some names for me and their respective prices. I'm currently setting phasers on a Arc Audio 5150XXK that Don suggested to me. Or maybe I'll run two Diamond amps: a 4 and a 1. Regardless, I'd like a few more 5-channel suggestions thrown at me (please, no Sony or Blaupunkt, etc.). Don, I know you'll read this too, so get at me.

5150,
DLS A7, USAmps 5600x, Helix makes some, Genesis too....

I think Don sells them all except the US amps.

edit two responses while I was typing. I would prolly go with the A7 personally as well. Was consiring running two of them at one point, but don't have the money.

Contact Don for a price! I thought it was very fair for the amp you get.

All dependant on your budget Arnold, the DLS is about double the XXK..

Also alot more of an amp to justify the price though.

In all honesty, I've been around enough 5150 setups to say it has plenty of bite. Its a very ballsy and that 5th ch rated power is quite misleading. Mate it to high efficiency sub and you'll have a very balanced power delivery and SQ with plenty of kick.

Heres a nice positive mag review on the 5150...

I own an arc 5150 as well and its definately not a bad amp. Other choices would be US Amps, Audison, and Zapco.

I'd say simplicity in wiring/amp rack/trunk setup. And of course to have a beast of an amp...

I'd LOVE to run my whole system off two A7's....I can see the fly amp rack (in my head) right now......

I know this might get bashed but i have to throw it out there anyway....
I would have to reccomend Diamond D7 or ARC amps. I have the D7's and i absolutly LOVE them. A buddy of mine here in kansas bought the ARC amps from "The Don" and they would be AWSOME too. Just my 2 cents though. Good Luck!!

No bashing. Diamond and Arc is the sh*t. If I don't get an Arc, I'll probably just get two Diamonds, instead.

P.S. Pearl96Max is Don. :P
