Infinity Amps?

I've recently come accross a good deal on some infinity amps but don't know much about the quality of their stuff. Looking for some words of wisdom, thanks.

If not infinity what amp should I invest in. I'm looking for something that will be at least 75w RMSx 4 @ 2olms and don't want to spend more than 250 if I can help it. Thanks

What model infinity amp are you looking at? The newer ones are just mainstreamed garbage, the old ones are very nice.

My original plans were to run diamond audio hex in the front and d6 coaxials in the rear and was thinking 50x4 is just a little to low. The hex's have a 150 rms and even though the actual power is probably more like 70x4 on the arc I had heard that the hex's like power. Also I really want to stay under 250 if i can. I'm still more than open to suggestions though.

That's what I bridged the amp to 2 channels. 200x2 at 4ohm.

For $250 youd be hard pressed to find something build as well and to provide the power. In other words that amp should be your top choice. If you can find something better within your range I would personally like to know what it is.

Will that amp do a decent job powering those speakers?

I want one amp that will run all four speakers though, will I have to bridge the arc on the front pair or can I set it up to two pairs?

You can set it up to two pairs.

My suggestion: bridge to the fronts, run your rears off the HU.

I've got (2) older Infinity Kappa amps, unfortunately not the Betas. I've got the 202a and 102a. I've beat the h3ll out of em, pushed em hard, and they've NEVER failed me. Crutchfield had them on a half off clearance so i got a killer deal on em.!
