Well I am officially an old man now

I finally finished my sealed box for my avalanche 15. Mad props to Kevin for pretty much doing everything including the carpet. If anyone wants a ported box for a 15 let me know and you can have it.

pix are in my other post.

well I had about 5 minutes of ear time with it prior to all of my speakers being taken out... but that is another thread coming up. However, just testing it with NO music and just bass it is damn loud now... this can be attributed to me turning off my SSF which is at 30hz after uninstalling my speakers. playing LNT, and a song nobody knows my T.I. were far better than my ported box. this is due to the SSF being off but it has the output I was expecting. I would say now with the seats down the sealed box is significantly louder than the ported box with the seats up. with the seats down the ported owns all.

I will have more pix up shortly.

Let's see who can guess what wood I used.

check the pic name it might give it away. Ya Kevin did a very nice job on the carpeting as much as I love Birch naked or drenched in fiberglass resin the carpet just looks clean and makes the box appear smaller IMO. the box is 23x18x14. I am very happy with how well it is sealed and how it came out. if you want you can pay for shipping and have a ported box for that 15.

I bet. I need to swing by and take a listen as soon as the rest is finished. So Kevin, can you really notice a huge difference in output?

Wonder what the percentage of threads in this forum turn into *****-fests.

This is for the list.
