**The Audio Thread**

It's worth a shot, but let's see if we can start a huge thread about anything audio related instead of post whoring in other threads and getting it off topic. So post anything maxima audio related, or hell anything car audio related in this sucker. Maybe Don can sticky this later...

I'll start...

So, been toying with the idea of dremeling out the stock "grill" on the tweeter housing. The holes on there doesn't seem like it allows much sound to go through. Anyone ever replaced the plastic grill with a cloth one? In any case, can't wait til the SLC's get here

I will post a little something...

Finally got rid of my VCR in the Max this weekend . I've had it in there for many years. Now I have a little DVD player in my glove box . It is alot easier to change out movies now. The VCR was in the trunk, pretty big too.

Looks a bit "enclosed" like thered be shielding from the A pillar itself. Also with the Dr side, might have the same problem as me with the instrument cluster and bad cancelation..

what do you mean by the a pillar itself? and yeah, the way the dr side tweet is aiming, it'll hit the edge of the tach cluster, and definately the steering column.

See how the sail panel is "under" the A pillar? Thats what Im referring to, almost like a hood or umbrella over it...

They should have left the tweeter location in the lower portion of the A pillars like in the 5th gens.

I sense a CAF knockoff.

Gordon, a better measure would be to take a look at the backside of those sail panels. Go pop em off so we can have a looksee and see if anything can be done.

OR you could take a small drill bit and start drilling out every hole in that sail panel. That would take forever, but I've heard of people doing it :ahem: Manny.
