Wiring In Series....???? Dvc 10"

I have a DVC Memphis Power Bass 10" Sub......it is 4ohm per voice coil in impedance I will be getting soon a Memphis Power Bass amp and I am going to run it bridged mono for 4ohm how do I wire my sub to be 4 ohms and it is DVC 4ohms...each...thank you I need step by step instructions....

You cannot achieve a 4-ohm load from two 4-ohm coice coils. You'll have to get a different amp. Get a Class D monoblock that is 2-ohm stable.

Micah is right. You cannot achieve a 4 Ohm load with that sub unless you only wire up one voicecoil. I've seen this done before though I wouldn't recommend it. It will work but you will get less travel (Xmax) out of the sub and thus less bass output. Your best bet is to get a Memphis Studio monoblock amp to drive this sub, the ST-500D would be perfect.
