How much did it cost for you guys to get rid of the bose and get a whole new system? I am looking for a new system around 600 to 700 any ideas?

300 for subs and box, 250 for the amp, 170 for the HU, and about 100 for the cabin speakers.... so about $720 for a pretty basic system

^^^If you want to stick to those prices your better off buying most of the things slightly used....youll get better for your money and wont have to upgrade for a while Look in Caraudio.com they have a pretty active for sale section...

You could buy from places like millionbuy.com and woofersetc and save a LOT of money. My two friends that do competition recommended them. I dont know that you get warranty with woofers etc but they're cheap. I bought some of my stuff from millionbuy because they're rated very well and sure enough my transaction was quick and easy and they completely waived ALL the shipping fees even though my order technically "didn't qualify" for free shipping.

The main reason I would stay away from places like that is because once something happens and the product gets damaged your SOL, and you end up spending more money in the long run.
