XM RoadyXT Install question

I have a 2002 I35. Can someone post pics on where they installed their RoadyXT's. I know how to install it, I am just looking for the best place to install it. I dont want to use the vent clip.

Thanks.

I do em everyday, and Im not a fan of 99% of all the possible spots Ive ever put em. That being said, your best bet is probably going to be a custom bracket from Pro fit, even though I still vote for an aftermarket radio with sat capability

Those are nice brackets. I never knew who made em, I always just bend a piece of metal.

Will it FIT in the ashtray?

While I agree, the problem I am having is the add on unit (alpine) is limited compared to the standalone unit I have. ( sirius - starmate replay) I like being able to see what's playing on other station without having to tune them in, and the add on unit is limited to only 16 characters. Plus there's the artist/song alert that lets you know if a certain song is playing on another station.

"Will it FIT in the ashtray?"

I know it will fit in the area down there. It may or may not fit in the ashtray hole alone and may require cutting of the trimpiece around it. It's pretty close.
