Sub/Amp suggestions for a first-timer?

Hey, I've replaced all of the main speakers in my 4th generation SE with Rockford Fosgate components, and am looking to now add a subwoofer to the mix. I do use my trunk a fair amount, and also use my car to drive around clients, so I can't have anything too crazy.

Ideally, I would like a single 10" (or maybe an 8"?) to round out the lower-end of my music (hip-hop, rock) - I'm going for good sound quality, not window shaking. Also, after seeing a ton of enclosures, I'm going with a custom, shallow enclosure that I can push to fit right behind the rear seats. Cubic feet will be 1.2 max.

Suggestions for subwoofers and corresponding amps?

Thanks!

I haven't heard it yet, but many people love the Image Dynamics ID10v3. You can get it off of sounddomain.com (authorized dealer) for a good price (on sale, but always a good price). They take very small enclosures and are supposed to be very accurate.

If my rainbow components don't give me all that I want, I'll be adding an ID10 or 12. But I gotta wait just a few more days until the correct size will be here.
