I think you can do it with that TVAndNavToGo module thing that they sell. Luigi did it (he had a picture of Super Mario playing on the nav screen ), and I think he hooked it up himself.

I have the module that I purchased for an Infiniti but it was never installed. You can call them and find out if it works on the Max.

Here's a picture: http://www.viguera.net/maxima/images/DSC05111.jpg

Here's the model/serial: http://www.viguera.net/maxima/images/DSC05113.jpg

Call them up (ask for Dominic) and ask them if that model will work on the Maxima.

Ah... there he is. Go search go!

If you don't wanna drill the bumper, you should look at one of those plate frame ones like UnMaTcHeD has. You can get those on ebay for like $100 shipped.

If you are looking to convert the stock navi here is a link to a group deal going on at acurazine.com:
http://www.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=337909

I know there were a few maxima.org members that purchase these a while back and they work great. I am in the works of trying to get on as long as my dinosaur navi unit will work with it. Just sign up on that forum and PM Dom about the product.

Oh I think that someone even suggest a backup camera on that thread to and how they installed it on their acura which would be rather close to an install on a maxima.
