Gains not making AC Voltage Flucuate?

I was tweaking the amps today, and had the DMM connected to the 1500-XXK, but when I turned the gain ****, the voltage didn't move, and hovered around 70.3V. I used the DMM method to tune the 2100-xxk and it worked fine, and sounds awesome mated to the SLC's.

But why won't the voltage go up or down on the 1500-XXK? So I sorta tuned it by ear.

Haha... the main reason I even considered getting rid of it was for financial reasons.

force of habit of mine

but those rainbow sure sounds natural Only complaint it that the sails seems to be aimed right at my ears. I gotta go back in there and drill out a little more of that plastic mount so the tweet is at a better angle.

That's why I like the upward curvature of the doors. Pointing to the area directly above my center console vents.
