How about this Head Unit?

I couldn't find any reviews for this player, but the price is very good compare to others. I know it doesn't come with navigation, but still...
I'm interested about quality of a sound because I never heard Panasonic decks.

Yo Anton what's up buddy.

I've heard and seen bad track records from Panasonics. A lot of them have problems and require premature warranty work. Also, I wouldn't trust it much coming from Ebay. Spend a little extra and get the Eclipse AVX...no navi, great product.

AVX costs a little less then AVN, at that point its better to go all out.
I would love to get AVN, but damn that thing is costly. I can't justify to spend that much for it.
I understand this Panasonic is not amazing, but it also costs twice as less.

P.S. I would get yours if your asking price was less

AVX is about a grand, I think. Brand new AVN is about 1500
Mine is going for 1300...price is relatively firm

I understand your pricing scheme, but be advised that if you purchase from ebay you forfeit your warranty, like that JL amp you bought. And you're not even getting a decent product off ebay, you're getting a panny, many of their decks have poor track records.

Agree with everything Nilesh said. If you really want an indash unit like the panasonic, be sure you know that if anything goes wrong with it, which there is I'd say at least a 45% chance of this you'll be SOL.

Good luck in your search.

I would save up the extra de nero and get Nilesh's avn with the outputs. It's mint + 2 years of full warranty. Can't beat that.

Sorry, not everyone has $2000 to spend on a head unit.

See sig. The Cd700 is only necessary unless you're a true audiophile, are running a full active setup and going all out.

not necessarily. you can still benefit from it even if not going active. I'm gonna be listening to the CD7000, with the Arc 2500 XXK, and the Dynaudio system 360 in passive.

why do you want DVDs in your car? You can't be watching movies while driving, you'll cause an accident.

I had one in my previous car so I miss it.
Plus, I'm driving all day long and sit in the car for hours. They could be occupied by watching a movie instead of smoking packs of cigs.

Pioneer 6800 I like, AVX I don't like because it looks kind of old on my opinion

Having video in the car comes in very handy when you have little ones .
