floating amp rack for the win :) (Pics) WIP

changed the amps to a floating amp rack in the spare tire well. Not done yet tommorow it will be finished with the plexiglass. Wil post more tommorow

Nice...with some wiring cleaned up itll look hot, I already like it better than the last rack you had.

if by sound off you mean bass wise, then yes i am confident my 3 12 w6v2 ported will win . But vocals i bow down to you.

i've personally heard & felt don's setup and have had a JL w7 myself...
the Just Lousy's can't win for sure....my current setup blows away the w7 in bass and clarity. Good luck...it is not for the weak. =)

heh i said WIP which means work in progress its not done yet. it will be today though. So no, you cant have any sauce with that spaghetti .. I dont have 1 w7 i have 3 12" Jl w6v2 slot ported tuned to 32hz.

Ill throw together a new ported enclosure then take that bet.

more updates its getting their! Plexi is being etched with a symbol at the moment so it is not mounted to the false floor yet but these pics are just to give an idea of how it looks so far and i still have to wrap the floor in vinyl too before i screw down the plexi.... Only 5 leds in that plexi 4,000 MCD

Maybe Im missing something here, but if you can't put amps under the backseat because there is no airflow and they will overheat, then how can (and does) everyone put their amps in their trunk and plexiglass on top? Wouldn't that restrict the airflow equally as much?

Ever seem how much room is under the back seat? next to none. In the trunk where he has it at least theres still some space. As opposed to a seat being pushed down onto it allowing literally No space at all If the seat would even go back into place.

You definitely would win with a ported box, but with your current sealed it would most likely be him.
