Lights on HVAC AC - heater controls out since radio install??

Lights on HVAC AC - heater controls out since radio install??
I read a few guys had this same issue, but I can't find anyone who had a resolution to it. I upgraded my head unit and after the install a few of my HVAC lights are now out.
Only the right side buttons, the cold/hot selector and the accent light above the coin tray are out.
Now I know the light above the coin tray (ash tray) has a seperate plug going to it, but it is not working either so it might be part of this issue.
Anyone figure out how to fix this. Are the bulbs actually burnt out or did I knock something loose. I've checked the plug connection 3 times now and they seem to fit nice and tight.
