When i uninstalled my system from my camaro, i couldnt get the wiring harness out. I picked up a new harness from one of the stereo shops around here, but its just straight wires. I seem to remember there being fuses and resistors or something in the factory harness. Does anyone have a wiring diagram or pinout for my unit?

 

I have that same head unit. ummm... I could tell you things from the manual, but it's much easier if you just see it for yourself. Just sign up on pioneerelectronics.com and you can get the Installation manual from there. But just so you know, there are fuses on the yellow (constant 12V), orange/white (illumination), and red (ignition) wires. The yellow wire should also be coupled with the ground wire. I'm not sure what value the fuses are, I could possibly check later on if you really need me to.
