Aftermarket HU and my speakers are going in and out????

About 2 months ago I installed an aftermarket HU with the schoshe gain adjuster and Yesterday my left front speaker basically cut out. It didn't fully go quiet but if was very low compared to the others. So last night I pulled my HU and checked all my wiring and nothing seemed loose. When i put it back together everything was working fine. This morning on the way to work the right front did the same thing but then it started going from the right front to the left front and so on. Right now they are both working the same but it seems the sound moves to and fro at will. Any suggestions on what the cause could be? thanks
