I was considering putting 7inch Monitors in my headrest (4gen) and just curious to see if anyone else has done it themselves and how hard it was. if you've done it please let me kno and if possible include some pics
If your confident in your fabrication ability then go for it. It's really not that hard. Take everything apart, cut some stuff, solder some wires, put back together.

Well, I haven't done it before, but you first test fit your screen to see if it even looks like it will fit. Make a frame for the screen out of ABS plastic. Cut the back of your headrest with an X-Acto knife or box cutter to fit the frame(you have to cut however deep the screen is, and take into account the wires). You then route the wires from the screen down one of the posts of the head rest, and pop the screen in. The screen should come with a trim piece that you will put on to cover the seams where you cut. It's pretty straight-forward. If anyone sees I forgot something, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Please do not use this as an exact guide, I am not liable for anyone elses mistakes.

That pretty much describes the easy part. Putting them in the headrests is simple. The pain is running the wires through the car.
For more information, do a Google search. There are many write ups...even some that will allow for the monitor to be flush IN the headrest rather than ON it.
