Any Dual DIN HU with removable face?

I realy want to install an aftermarket HU on my 2003 Maxima. I've been looking at Pioneer Avic's, Eclipse and some other dual DIN units. They all have FIXED face/screen. They will all attract unwanted people.

Since, i don't really need the video/DVD screen/playback, but i want the Dual DIN format,(looks nicer) are there any good aftermarket receivers that will play CD/MP3 and offer face removal/security?

Thank you!

Nope.

(You could get a flipout like the Eclipse AVN7000 that has a detachable face)

What you could do is get a busted bose/oem unit and remove the face plate and rig up a way to slide it on top of the aftermarket double din. I know with my insurance the head unit is covered as long as I have the receipt (with full coverage insurance). Anything in the cab is insured, items in the trunk are not.. that's with liberty mutual, you may want to check with your insurance to find out what is their deal.

^^^ this is true with nationwide as well. They will cover the radio as long as its mounted in the factory location and you show a proof of purchase. Regardless you'll still have to worry about replacing a broken window, busted up center console, and a radio.

I would also recommend defacing your factory 2din radio and using that to cover it up and get a 2 way alarm
