Blah to both of you haters.

 

sucks i missed it. i was going to pickup my rims from slammed that day and i ended up getting my money for them today instead. So i worked yesterday =[

 

Since no one hardly took pics of the installs....


The only thing I accomplished for this meet was modifying the stock kickpanel with some resin to angle my new 4" Rainbow Profi paper coned midranges. Wrapped in suede. It shows contrast with the trim due to the flash on the camera, but it matches very well. I just got a roll of some Stinger Vinyl that matches the interior perfectly, so I may rewrap'm in the near future.





My a-pillar fabrication for the RAinbow Platinums was not completed, so I used some Rainbow Profi Cal26's as spares behind the OEM apillar location for the meantime. I'll just post a thread when that fabbing in underway.

I love that HU and dash. Nice job on the kicks too. Ever think about getting the tweets a little closer to the mids?

 

Theyre actually going Further away.

 

Not a fan of kick mounted tweeters, not worth the headache for me. I prefer a taller stage height. The mids are actually slightly angled towards a center area of focus on the dash, and they dont pull my stage down. Perceptually the stage will pull to the strongest area of sibilance, hence its very tough and car dependant to not have all the trebble pull the stage down in a mid/tweet kick setup.

The car will be tuned via Audio Control RTA at the drivers side headrest (or center of car to make a 2 seat seatup)with analog independent L/R Eq and Level cotrol for each side of the car.
