The Unvailing

Here are some pics of my install. In my opinion the pics don't do it justice.

Dude, that's awsome. Is that cf for the sub box? What's going on with the floor of your trunk? It looks swirly and shiny.

That is Carbon fiber vinyl, the stuff on the floor is aluminum and the amp racks are 3/4" aluminum. You seem to be the only one who likes it.

Amp rack/sub box looks awesome. Where did you have it done or did you do that yourself? What comps are they? Mids in stock locations? did you play with any other locations for the tweet?

Most importantly, how does it sound?????

I like it due to being different and creative. Although why not stealth with the tweets or some glassing with the sails? Obviously it shows your capable sir.

BTW..who the CNCing?

Well Don the tweets are just there temp till I decide if I need to add a 7" profi to the doors and put my Germs in Kicks. It sound killer and I have not tuned it yet I have everything running flat and it is money can't wait to get it tuned. The CNC was a local shop here in KS, I am going to polish the inside of the cut outs and the top of the arches.

On second glimpse, I have a question.

Do you have some sort of bezel for the DQXS? It needs one.

Yo KUB... That install is HOT! VERY INDUSTRIAL LOOKING! The swirled aluminum does the trick too! Very different from the norm... Keep it up!

It is hard to get hold of cf right now. There is a shortage due to aircraft industries and such wanting loads of it.

Nice. Good choice of materials...the floor isn't the typical diamond plate, it's what I would've done except I would have the aluminum brushed straight or in circles.

So what would you deem as fully show worthy?

what i mean by that is, most cars that are prepared for show are very obviously done up for shows... from the outside, your car looks completely stock, other than your wheels/tint/calipers/drop. inside tho, is a different story. your amp racks look very nice.

oh OK that makes sense. The outside will remain looking stock. Until another body kit is avalible. I would have a grill if it would ever come.

I am really pleased with how it turned out. I want to give a BIG SHOUT OUT to the Don who hooked me up with all my equipment. Much respect to him. Now on to the compe***ion circuit to see how I do. Wish me luck.
