Stupid Pioneer *rant*

So I figured I'd try the aux imput thingy on my head unit. There's a 2.5mm stereo jack on the bottom of the faceplate that you can plug a mp3, etc into and have it played through the system. Well, when I tried to plug in my iPod, I saw a freaking little spark and now my HU is acting all apesh*t! Now I gotta get a new one. I don't know how the hell it sparked. I tried resetting it, but still no worky.

First a damn speeding ticket (f*cking cops placed a speed trap after this exit ramp on a freeway, no sh*t people would be a little fast getting off there) and now this.

Your HU sparked when you were plugging in an aux wire? Wow that's new.

Sucks, Gordo, can you fight the ticket?

yeah got the HU locally, gotta love warranty. don't think i blew a fuse, the HU turns on fine, but just acts goofy now.

as for the ticket, don't know if i should fight it or not. this is my FIRST ticket EVER. maybe the judge will have some sympathy. another thing, my court date is on the 31st of this month, at 9 PM!!

Consider yourself lucky. Ive taken the driver improvement course 3 times (I think) as well as a few tickets in between that I couldn't take the class for, since you can only take it once every 12 months. Not to mention like 10 parking tickets and been booted twice on this f'in campus, but those arent points so whatever.

My first ticket was 47 in a 35 on my learners permit with my dad in the passenger seat. Not many people I meet top that

I was talking to Gordon. I could hunt down the number of useless posts youve made but I don't have all night.

I dont know if your trying to be sarcastic or not with that exclamation point, and I see you calmed down in your own thread, but Im still in the mood to pick apart what your saying.

it was a speed trap, his partner was shootin down drivers left and right. after he clocked my speed, he told his partner, which inputed the info to the little ticket printer thingy.

so even if i asked to see the speed, odds are it won't be of mine.

if it was a speed trap i dont think he will be waiting for you in court, so just go to court and show up and get it dismissed, because 99% hes not going ot be there. and if he is you still can ask him questions and such where if he answers anything incorrect then you can get the judge to drop the case. just play it smart. i got the wierdest ticket once though where the cop said he caught me doing this at this time, but thought i was going faster so wrote me a ticket for 10mph faster than what he clocked me for, lol

well actually it might not be a real court date, but where you get this paper to plead not guilty or guilty and then they assign the date.

i spoke to several cops. officers doing speed traps will more than likely show up up to these hearings...if you can call it a hearing. it's the ones that are not specifically assigned to traffic duty that seldom shows up.
