just installed fm modulator...sound quality question

I bought an xm roady2 for a very very good deal. well i finally got around to mounting it in a semi-professional way and hooked up an fm modulator so i would not be using that embarassing cassette deck set up anymore. i also figured this would offer better sound quality with the stock bose system i have in my 95.
well i opened the xm radio pamphlet to see a chart comparing sound quality from the different connection ways. the best was AUX input to the headunit, then it went to (better) which was the cassette deck and then (good) which was the fm modulator and then (ok) which was the wireless fm modulator.
i didnt think the cassette deck would be considered a better sound quality than an fm modulator....and i can really tell a huge difference yet causei havent listened for a long time but what do yall think? which offers better sound quality output.

wouldn't surpirse me that the cassette deck is better. If you really think about it Cassette sond isn't really that bad. The reason half of them sound bad is because of the fact that people often recorded their own. Buy a store sold cassette and listen to it...yeah it's not CD quality..but it doesn't sound bad, not to mention don't have to worry about intereference. Really the difference between good FM mod and cassette won't matter much I imagine. Sounds like you'll be happy either way. Aesthetically the FM mod would be better but if you don't care, just go with whichever one you feel like.
