Will I need the Nissan diversity adapter?

I have a 97 Maxima GXE and was wondering if I would need the diversity adapter in order to plug my radio into my new aftermarket headunit.

Just match the colors up. You might want to get a wiring harness so you don't have to touch the factory wires.

Yeah that's what I did. I purchased one because I didn't feel like splicing/soldering anything permanently.
