Ology
Ology
Ok, I came across these reviews of the Ology components, and people calling them comparable to Rainbow Plats. I had never heard of these before. After a good look of doubt, I PM'd Don. So, humor me, if you have heard them, what are your opinions on these questionable looking components.
Sure thing!!
"Actually heard them Many times prior to Ology even exiasting. All they are are parts from PE or Madisound put together with a crossover.
I can poop on a plate and SAY they parallel with References. Try em and find out.." -- Don

Oh yeah, Isn't Ology that college kid trying to sell speakers out of his dormroom??? Did he have a feud way beck when with Dan Wiggins about them being the build house for Ology, but it never worked out? thought I read that on a post like a year ago....
It seems like this kid is making alot of statements about his comps being gods gift to audio but not backing them up with any facts or reviews. This is what his crossovers look like... http://img275.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ogysl639gd.jpg You be the judge...

High quality crossovers there. Top notch build quality.
Is he really using rebadged parts express stuff? Do we know what drivers?

and Yes, depends which hes making at the time. He also takes orders from others that want raw drivers so he can get quantity discounts.
I applaud him for the attempt, as many arent too skilled to do it themselves. Although the overall appearance kills it Alot.
Not to mention the fact that hes using readily available drivers to anyone.
As its already known..95% of companies out there outsource their products, but are designed, Then built to specs. So while using another manufacturers drivers is not uncommon, just picking off a shelf is.
