Hey, I have a 2k2 with bose and navi and 6-CD changer in the trunk. My HU is a Clarion PN-1728D (part number 286-9233-31). I have the service manual for the 2k2, but it doesn't give any internal wiring diagrams for the head unit. What I'm specifically interested in is how the tape deck outputs audio to the stereo/speakers. I want to hardwire my ipod so that it plays through the stereo when I push the TAPE button, since I never use the tape deck anyway. If there are audio-out wires going from the tape deck to the main unit, then I can just cut them and run them to the ipod. Does anyone have the service/repair manual for this HU or any similar ones? Or does anyone know the wiring? Thanks a lot.
