Another RE company?

some options for the BTl series:
p chamfer to add more cooling
another cooling option that does something i forgot
add another magnet slug to make it 3 instead of 2
add a high xmax coil from 16mm to 26mm xmax
add teflon coating to gap
add inner heatsink
its 2000rms without any of those ^ aditional options

and the 15 is 379 shipped, which incase you dont know the RE MT direct were around 500, and these look promising too, no specs on the subs yet, the site was supposed to come out today and it did about an hour ago

www.ficaraudio.com

4 lines
X 109$ 10" 300rms
SSD 179$ 10" 800rms
Q 259$ 12" 1000rms
BTL 349 10" 2000

rms is probably underated

side shot of a BTL 12" with 2 slugs, you can add a third

all credit goes to bamaboy for finding this....

whats the point of adding teflon to the gap? the gap is pretty small as is...unless it's to prevent the VC from rubbing. but then again the vc's shouldn't rub if the speaker is built correctly...

btw Don, you got the tracking number for the stuff coming in this weekend?

Well im in the market for new subs for my RF T20001bd. I was thinking the 06 RE XXX but its cost a pretty penny. (750)

If i hear some good reviews on this new company i would think about picking up 2 of their 1000WRMS subs.

I believe the reviews will be great. I have been keeping and eye on the companies development for quite some time through a good friend. I also have direct contact with the owner. I am going to get pricing on 4 of the Q 12"s today and post up my TDX's for sale. As soon as the TDX's move, I will order.

That goes for anyone on the .org, if you are interested, please let me know, I may be able to work something out. GB maybe. I will have to have that conversation with Scott if the interest is there. I would also like the credit for moving some product.

You won't be dissappointed. As soon as I get the prices for us I will PM you. Oh, and these work great with small sealed and small ported boxes. I know I won't be able to do much better than what is on the site due to penetration pricing. But money is money

I just got the word, for now the prices are what the site has posted. Sorry fellas. I don't even get a break. This comes straight from Scotts mouth BTW. I am still moving forward, if you are still interested, let me know. Keep in mind, their price insludes shipping.
