Hi guys.... right now i got a Punch 1000a2 (rated 1602 watt @ 2ohm), and i got (2) Eclipse Aluminum Series DVC 12" subs on the way.... i need some tips on how to wire the subs (parallel or series??? or other options?) and i need some tips on how to build my custom box... i got 3RF amps, and i want em all standing straight up w/ the stripes goin vertically since i have such bad ventilation in my trunk (if you know 2000 model RF amps, you'll know what im talkin about)... Anyways... is it a good idea to set up my box so that the Eclipse subs face straight up on the higher end of the box, and i display the subs in frontside of the box? If anyone has ever put a box in their 3rd gen can u post some pics? if not, anyone got some tips for me?
thanks guys

You could wire those subs up in Series/Parallel to get a 4 Ohm final load on your RF amplifier. RF amps are not supposed to be run at less than 4 Ohms bridged. Or you can wire them up in parallel to each stereo channel for a 2 Ohm stereo load. The output from the amplifier will be the same total power in both cases.

Take a look at this website it should give you some ideas about how to rebuild the rear deck for mounting your subs up there.

Hey man, I'd like to know how you mounted your amp in the trunk floor like that? Do you have a apic of the underside of it so i have an idea on how to build my amp board. I just dont know how to make it flush with the floor that way. Thanks
