i'm looking to get some components up front and 6.5's in the rear. but my main concern is fitment. i don't want to have to make any brackets or adaters, just want all 4 screws to fit perfectly. anybody know any quality speakers that will fit nicely?

i was looking at the Fosgate components since they list them as oversized 6.5's, but i want to know for sure they fit b4 i buy.

thanks

deck power only...Eclipse 82641's 6.5" retail $119.99 pair

seperate amp power...Boston Acoustics RX67 6.5" $149.99 a pair...

Listen to them at your nearest stereo store...if you are interested in them email me at maximadave@hotmail.com...the Maxima.org would be less through me if you are interested...

Those are coax speakers, no mods are necessary. If you want sperates (sep amp req) look into the Boston RC620's, or even better the Boston Pros 6.5

hey maximadave, i have a regular kenwood HU

and it only pushes out 22 watts RMS. i don't really listen to my music too loud, just want clear highs, mids and a little bass. what do you suggest? i'm just looking for the "best bang for the buck" speakers. should i change my HU? I also don't want to get an amp, but if i run coaxials up front, won't i lose some of the imaging i'll get from components?

can you give me some prices too , or do you want me to e-amil you?

thanks again

You will lose a little bit of imaging but not alot. Go with the Eclipse 82641 6.5" speakers. They are very effecient and sound very good with deck power. They have a pivoted tweeter for better imaging since the speaker is down low in the door...

Look into the 2nd revision of the Audio/Electronics section
