Mid Quality build
Alrighty... I've already got a RF2002 powering my P112S4 (both shyt but they do the job I want them too)
My next upgrade (next week) includes an Alpine CDE-9852, and 2 sets of Polk db6500's. Normally 2x components is a waste, but both pairs are 300 dollars total.
480 dollars, anyone with experience, how will the quality of this be (in general, I know ALL > bose)

Don't get the db's. Don can get you some Rainbow SLs for about $220, I've heard. Then just get some db650 coaxials for the rear deck. I think you will be happier. the dbs have bad bass response, so unless you are getting a sub or currently have one, then walk away.

P112S4 is a sub.
I'll think about the rainbows. thanks for reminding me of their leetness.

The db tweets have nice, sharp highs, but I don't think they will compare at all to the rainbows. I am trying to save up a little to get some SLs for the front stage. I just wasn't impressed at all with the db's unless the components have better bass. I do like my db subs though.
