6.5" Custom MDF Rings: Anyone Makes These?
#41
I plan on making some MDF rings when I put the speakers in my 5th gen, that process is going very slowly right now..... I am almost done with the Damplifier install. Just need the rear doors and rear deck to be done. I did notice that after deadning the front doors even the Blose speakers up front sounded alot better. It was pretty cool to compare one side versus the other, very noticeable difference. I put deadner on both the inner skin of the door, totally covered, and the inner part of the outiside skin. I was able to cover most of it. I have quite a bit of cuts and scratches to prove it .

They'll be painted black b/c MDF puts out some urea formaldehyde, read here http://www.design-technology.org/mdf.htm, so, it should be painted. Anyhow, let me know if you are interested and I'll make them up for ya.
