suggestion for new sub/amp

hey guys i'm looking for a new set up for my trunk. i have an 05 max currently running [ don't laugh ] 2 12" infinity references and an 800w audiobahn monoamp. now i'm looking for something better. i'm trying to find a good 12" sub rated at around 500w-700w plus an amp. i listen to hip-hop/rap/breakbeats/vocal trance. budget about $1000, any suggestions would be great, thanks guys.

Try any of the subs by the following brands:

-Ascendant Audio
-Eclipse
-Alumapro
-Diamond Audio (user filtor01 in this forum has 2 TDX 12s for sale, id jump on those!)
-Soundsplinter
-Arc Audio
-Resonant Engineering

And theres a brand new company out called Fi Audio - expecting good things. Talk to filtor01 if you'd like to give them a try, i think he has connections of some sort...

Then, contact Don (Pearl96max) for an amp recommendation, he'll be able to sell one to you that'll fit your budget.

I have a single Eclipse Titanium 12 for sale if you're interested, its around 750w rms though, PM me if you're interested.

12" Sound Splinter RL-p.

500-700 watts is perfect for it.

filtor1, how much are you selling those subs for? Also, a sub(either 12" or 15") around $400 that bumps HARD and sounds even better. Suggestions?

I was asking $250/ea. But am willing to wiggle if someone wanted to pick them up. If we were to meet in say Orlando, I would probably call it a wash due to gas. Let me know if your interested.

the RL-P was definitely a top contender. it's the one i'm leaning towards, if not the RL-P 12". it would be the AA Arsenal 12".

Yeah man. We have three here. And I live on 115acres. Kevin has been out to ride a few times. We have two little beater Honda 300's that guests ride and a new Yamaha Grizzly 660 that I ride. All three belong to the inlaws, I just tear them up. studman (Jeremy) was just out and flipped one a couple weeks ago. I wonder how his leg is doing. We had fun though.

Sure can, and have thought about it. Noone wants to make the drive collectively. We also have a huge trailor/smoker. Food would be no issue.

The RL-P is a good sub, it was my top pick until I got the chance to purchase Steve's IDMax.
