Custom Box

Just wanted to share pics of my audio setup before my baby gets parted out:

Here are pics of my dash setup and custom box w/ port thru the back armrest:

Just some feedback for those who want to go the custom box route: The port thru the armrest is awesome. The port forces the air into the cabin for max bass output while at the same time eliminating almost all truck rattling (no dynamat was used!). If i was to do it again, I would have ported thru the rear deck because when u put up the armrest it muffles the bass a bit.

Any feeback is welcome!

Chris

I had the same thoughts about the EQ being crooked

Sounds awesome...
1.) Subs: 2 12inch old school Kicker sd12 Solo Barics in ported enclosure.
2.) Amps: Highs: Precision Power Power Class 4800: 50x4 @4ohms. Lows: Precision Power 1800: 800x1 mono block @2ohms. (These are the cleans amps around, the old ones that were still made in the USA)
3.) Front Stage: Focal Utopia 2-way component set: 6 1/2' midrange coupled with 1 1/4' TN51 titanium dome tweater: These speakers are incredible (expensive though) and honestly sound cleaner the louder u crank it.

The part of my system that really sets it apart from the rest is the Precision Power Par 245 5-band equalizer and line driver which sends my RMS voltage to around 8 or 9!

Nice speakers. I do like the midbass on the Utopias and yes they can be real dynamic with good power. Not the biggest fan of the tweet, but it definately isn't crap at all....hopefully off axis.

Nice boomin system! Enjoy! I'd love to hear it, butyou're in LA.....
