need help with my system

Well my system was installed awhile back however some time it feels like it doesnt hit as hard. It happened before so i took the car back but nothing was wrong, However today in the morning it did the same thing. It just didnt hit hard. but after work it hit hard again while driving home. So i tried to see what was up and then i heard a noise coming from the sub. While hearing the bass i also hear a buzzing should. Does anyone know what this could be?? mb the amp clipping? bad wires? help me out

thanks

check your ground. Ground all audio compenets at one point. Make sure the area is clean of paint

If it is a dvc sub check to make sure one of the wires didn't come loose. Buzzing /distortion even when the voulme is low could mean the sub is blown as well.

It's not going to read the "correct" load. Speakers don't test out at the rated resistance. A 4 ohm sub may come in at 3.XX.

But it would still reside within its appointed realm...A 4Ohm sub may read 3.9/3.8, pretty obvious its intent was to be a 4Ohm, just due to lower quality winding.

BTW, sorry bout today, I was umm..doing Something.
