Where is the neutral position safety switch wire in the 4th gen??

Hey guys, we have just installed the Compustar 2w900fm-as, but the thing is, its working fine, but it starts in gear also. I did search the org, and non of the threads did really say where it is. We found one green/orange(thats what it says it should be) on the drivers side by the ECU, it goes from BCM i think to the ECU, but how am I supposed to hook it up so it would know if its in gear? It should be negative when its in neutral and then go positive when goes in gear right? But when is that wire supposed to give power, I mean what key position?I was trying to hook it up to a hood pin trigger wire which gives negative also unless the hood is opened, so like if the car is in gear it should be positive and like a car is with the hood opened, so it wouldn't start. Please, any ideas, info would help. Thank you!

Why didnt you just get the one thats intended for MT? Either way the wire is Green/White on the pass side of the ECU.

I would have to look at one of the manuals. I do almost Zero Compustars in comparison to DEIs, so I dont know the colors off the top of my head.

hes gonna ask anyway lol. Send a negative to the orange and green wire coming from the clutch switch(wrapped in wire loom) using the - status output coming frmo the dei brain i think its purple. Good luck make sure you do it right! otherwise your car will jump if you leave the car in gear and eventually crash into something and or hurt some one! BE SAFE
