Infinite baffle or box

I would like to purchase a 10' sub and mount it under my rear deck with a ported box. After doing some measurements I realized the box would not fit because of those metal poles/braces that run under the deck. A 8' sub would fit with no problems but I wanted the 10". My question is what sounds better, a 10' sub in a ported, non-ported box, or infinite baffle? This will be powered by a 400w amp and I mostly listen to hip hop. Thanks in advance to anyones help.

I've had all kinds of different setups, 2 10's, 2 8's and 1 15, 1 10, 1 12, 2 12's. Right now I'm running two 8's in the rear deck (DLS OA8's) Currently being underpowerd by about 100 watts and they sound fantastic.

Have you figured out how your going to mount your 10" sub on the rear deck. That is, if you decide to go the IB route. I am attempting the same setup right now, but the scissor bars will be in the way of the baffle and not allow enough room for the subwoofer.

There were was guy who mounted a 10 sub ib on this section before, he put a ring under it and then mounted it to the rear deck. I was going to mount my ring on top of the sub then screw from the top of the deck into it, I'm not sure if this has been done. before.

Cut the trunk torsion bars and use struts.
