Actually no, I voluntarily stopped carrying Alpine.

So lemme see you have Alpine..Not high end. What else do you, err sorry your BOSS have.

Lemme see if I can name a few that I carry and lets compare shall we?

Arc Audio
Dynaudio
Morel
Rainbow
DLS
Nakamichi
Audison
Hertz
Eclipse
Audio Control
Alumapro

Shall I go on, or do you need a minute to research what is winning world records across the globe? Oh and yes Im Authroized for all that I carry.

never heard of them....except for eclipse..that's circuit's top of the line! what's with this h0m0 rainbow brand speakers...anyone that has those is CLEARLY ghey...

BACK ON TOPIC...DON really knows his stuff along with a lot of the other guys in here. THE MAIN DIFFERENCE I have noticed with being a customer of DON's is that he doesn't care WHAT you want to get installed. Have a jensen headunit? sure he'll install it for you. When you ask him for recommmendations he'll ask for your price range and what you want to get out of it, THEN make a couple of suggestions based on your criteria. When I first met don I had him install a kenwood double din (not the greatest headunit for reliability) and some alpine amps with a JL 12W7 subwoofer. Now the system is 100% different and worlds better than what I had. Trust in this guy DON...he will help you when you let him...

Im glad you have goals. Being a Shark might be step up from what you currently are... a child that acts like he knows whats going on.

I actually posted that offer to help you with sincerity, instead you still want to turn it around. Your maturity speaks volumes for you sir.

I pray for your sake the shop you work for never tries to take the leap into higher end products. They will be quite difficult for you to aquire now.

I'm here for the gangbang.

Not only have I known Don professionally, but also personally. I have yet to see someone who will go out of his way to help you out, in the simple name of love for the hobby. Bottom line, he cares about sound, and wants you to be happy with it. You gotta give a little to get a little.

Imaging is the least of his worries with that mixup.

Im curious to his xover points/slopes. What the enclosure tuned to? SS filter? Then again IF a SS is even used, I suppose its applying to those IB 8s too...

I think he better learn to swim before he jumps in the tank with the sharks. That install is scarrrrrry. Ok so if I read this thread correctly he has the 8's running on the same channel as the sub in the trunk?!?!?!?! How would one cross that over. Those subs are not going to play the same freq. Wow that is rich. I think he is hung up on the high end thing. The message is doing things right yes having higher end equip makes a world of difference but if your install sucks then whats the point.

Wow and I thought I had heard it all and seen it all for that fact but this by far is in the top 10. That install and setup is crappy. Install goes a long way. And to think he challenged Don, get real. He harps on the HIGH END yet it seems he hasn't heard of any of them. Dude get a clue and don't bite off more than you can chew. Listen to what the masters here have to say. They won't steer you wrong, but come in here as a know it all and be prepared to be bent over to have your *** handed to you.
