I'm on vacation right now and do not have access to my work computer to quote a price on the items you requested. I'll be back on Saturday to reply quotes. Infinity and Kicker I do not carry but everyone I know goes mostly with the JL 12W3's. I quoted one person (I forgot his name) on this thread $159.99 each. I will write it up if you are interested on the subs and you can pick it up at the Tweeteer store nearest you. A great amp to go with is the JL 500/1 sub amp. Check this thread for a price, I know I quoted someone for it. As for powering you fronts go with the JL 300/2. I can give you a quote until Saturday but will still keep in touch on the best damn car site around Maxima.org!!

Well, no longer. I am denouncing all Kenwood head units. Well, the power antenna lead from the unit no loner works so my antenna stays up ALL the time. In addition to that, as I mentioned earlier, my display lights up but displays absolutely no information. Well, to top it off, I changed CDs last night and when I started the car again, no buttons will respond. The friggin thing won't turn up, down, change tracks, or turn off. Hell, it won't even respond to the friggin' remote.
I've had it. I am swearing off Kenwood head units from this point forward. I am jumping ship to Alpine. I always said that I didn't like Alpine CD players. Well, at least they are reliable.

Hey, if you could get these parts for me, it'd be fantastic. I can't find one of them anywhere except directly through Sony and I don't want to go that route unless I really have to. I'm looking for two Uni-Link cables: RC-61 1 meter male to male and the RC-87 2 meter male to female. Email, post, PM, whatever a reply if you can get these for me any cheaper than Sony's price. ($30 and $45 respectively.) Thanks for this and thanks for looking out for the .Org.

Sony has outlet centers all across the U.S. It depends on where you live. I have one near Lake Elsinore, CA that mainly deals in "B" stock merchandise (refurbished) plus sells parts as well. Call up Sony at 1-800-222-SONY and ask them where is the nearest Sony outlet center.

I don't carry the 801 Panasonic. I do have the 701 for $320.00....Best thing to do is go into that Tweeter store and tell him/her that you know someone (Dave) at Tweeter of California and you want to see if they have something you might like. If you do find something email me at www.maximadave@hotmail.com and I'll generate an invoice on my end, give you an invoice number, call that store to reserve it for you plus a contact name and all you have to do is pay for it at that store and pick it up...

Yes, $159.99 warranty and all. If you want there is a 3 year warranty available on the subs for $29.99 per sub, so if you blow the sub you can take it back to the Tweeter store for a replacement or service. Just let me know when you are ready and I'll do the rest...

AMP for the JL
alright, you quoted me on the sub, now i need a new amp too, i figure why get a nice sub without the nice amp i was thinking about the JL 250, wondering what that goes for?? also if there is any other decent, but not amazing amps you sell and their price that would power the JL 12w3. im thinking of a 4 ohm sub wired for a 2 ohn load, to get the most from an amp. i am just using a single sub, i dont want to over dominate my stereo anymore, and i really need SOME trunk space back. thanks with pricing and suggestions dave.

I'm actually off today but someone else asked for that amp somewhere on this thread and I think I quoted him $299.00 for it. I'm basically running the same 250/1 amp to 1 JL 10W3D6 sub. Kicks butt. Check this thread to see if you can find it if not I'll reply back on tomorrow when I go back to work.

These are extremely power hungry. You have to have a beefy amp just to push these...just to let you know. They retail for $400.00 each but for you Carlos how about $299.00 each!!
I'm off for the rest of the day and I go back to work onn Saturday so you can call me at the store at 760-945-5900 and let me know if you want them. I do have them in stock as well. By the way, check out the West Coast section on Maxima.org, there is a bbq meet up in San Dimas, lets get all of the San Diego Maximas together and go up. What do you think...

Can you wire two Eclipse Alum 12s into a 2 ohm mono load?
Would 1500 watts be enough for the two? (Rockford Fosgate bd1500)
Thanks,
C.D.

Yes, HIFI Buys is a sister company of Tweeter. Once I get back to work this Saturday I'll reply for the prices you guys asked for...On the Rockford amp, wire the Eclipse aluminum subs at a 4OHM load. Rockford Fosgate amps don't work very well at a 2OHM load. For 1500 watts that more than enough to pound the h*ll out of the Eclipse's. Cutlr7, I'll give you your pricing on Saturday when I return to work.

I would like to join all the happy customers who purchased car stereo from maximadave. I just purchased JL Audio 10w6 sub, 250/1 amp and Eclipse speakers. The transaction couldn't be smoother and faster. Now I need to set up an appointment with my local Tweeter store for installation and I'm all set.
I'll definitely let you know how my new stereo system sounds.
Thanks Maximadave
