Sorry I don't carry MTX or Rockford. How about JL 12W3's and JL Audio 500/1 amps

who da man? dave da man!

first off, my apologies to maximadave for not thanking him as promptly as he hooked me up. in spite of the fact that ive been here at school now a week and a half, i only last night got my computer set up.

anyway, so dave got me an INCREDIBLE deal on a escort passport 8500 radar detector. the entire process was easier and faster than if i had gone into any tweeter store and purchased it myself for full price. i simply called dave at his store on my way down to school, he generated the invoice while on the phone, and i simply exited off the nj turnpike for the tweeter store in maple shade. i didnt spend more than 5 minutes in the store itself; i handed a sales associate an invoice number, he retrieved the merchandise, which dave so kindly had them hold specifically for me, paid, and left. easy breezy.

thanks again dave, the detector is dope and i didnt have any problems/complications with the purchase.

peace, -v-

I know I have asked this question before but I never wrote down the info and I cant find the previous post so please excuse the repetative posts. Anyway here goes, I need Eclipse speakers to replace my factory bose set up. Im looking for a component system for the doors and something to replace the rears. Preferably something top of the line because I want my system to be nice. Also, my friend is interested in the Eclipse double din unit. I think its the 7301 or something like that. How much does that run?

One last question, I dont know if you carry Pioneer stuff but Im looking for the Pioneer fh-p4000 unit. if you carry it do you have a price?

thanks a lot for helping me out.

dave i want to put in a lcd screen with a dvd player. the one that is like a head unit and the screen slides out of the head unit and then becomes vertical.. i saw a lot of these things at the rockland car show, but i forgot the name brand they are selling. since i have a 5th gen i have i'd need a double din thing right? so i'd put the dvd player head unit thing on top and maybe a alpine or pioneer head unit (cd/am/fm) ont he bottom.. how much for the dvd thing? i dont want to spend too much you know? i live in NYC queens. only tweeter store is in albany. 2 1/2 hr drive

is it also possible to hook up the dvd to the speakers along with the cd player head unit?

My computers are down today for our aquisition of Sound Advice in Florida and they wont be up until Saturday so I can quote you on prices then.
Look at the Kenwood KVT910DVD...its our #1 seller, single din 6.5" motorized screen with built in DVD, CD, and TV tuner so you can watch local TV broadcasts check it out on there website at www.kenwoodusa.com it retails for $2400.00
If you want it get the Nissan OEM radio bezel with the oem pocket, I did this and it looks great with my Eclipse TV tuner in my dash (sorry no pics yet).

Another choice is if you want a double din unit is the Alpine CVA1006 and DVA5205...CVA1006 is $1299.99 retail and the DVA5205 is $1199.99 retail check it out at www.alpine1.com Let me know what you think.

Panasonic CQ-DF601U

At Panasonic it is listed as 379.99. What can I get from you living in VA at 22807?

Are Panasonics really becoming the bomb like I hear?

I would go to your local car audio shop to look and play with this cd player...it's kinda like love it or hate it. To me it's an ok deck.
Let me know.

Yes but I only carry ones by Soundgate....www.crutchfield.com or others will have other brands for less that I can't get my hands on. They are all good though.

WOW!!! This thread is more than two months old. NEwayz I was looking at some Eclipse headunits in their catalog, and I'm interested in the
CD8051 & either 6CD in-dash unit 5962 or CH5061 ( I think this one has the digital out)

I was quoted $599 for the HU and $569 for the changer at my local Tweeter. Can I get a price quote from u Dave?

Thanx!!!

Stick with Eclipse but if you want Boston reply to what models you want. Check your email, I replied to pricing earlier.

Feedback

Dave, I just wanted to say that you did a good job in getting everything set up. Thanks for being patient when I had to make a change on the fly. The Bostons are working out better than planned.
Keep up the good work.

You can put any Bostons up front
FX6
RX67
RM6
65PRO
RC620
FS60

with the exception of the FX6 the above speakers would need an amp to get the most out of them...take a listen to them and let me know. Don't listen to them at Tweeter. Listen to them at one of my competitors first.

Considering that those are 6" or 6.5" speakers, is there a 5.25" speaker with an adapter plate for 4x6? The front speakers on my '94 are 4x6.
