Hello all, busted the remote that came with my viper 771xv remote start, and bought a new one, anyone know how to add a remote to the remote start??

I did the same thing with my 791xv. If you still have the manual it gives you instructions to add a new remote. If not you would probably have to go to a shop that is a Viper Dealer

 

The new remote should come with directions...in case it doesn't you should first find the valet button... its usually black with two wires coming from the button grey/black... once you find it open your door, put the key into your ignition and turn it to the ignition postion... press the button 8 eight times and keep it pressed in... the siren should chirp once... when it does just press the lock button... the siren should chirp again to confirm standard configuration programming... turn the key off and your're done...
