Yep. I thought it would get a little more views. I just need to get them gone.

$400 would get me the 15's I want, so I am motivated.

first part of organic chem is intersting. you start to recognize all these molecular structures like t e t rafluoroethane (the stuff in "air in a can").

the latter subjects are the pain in the ***** ones. we had to synthesis various compounds from a basic structure like ethane into some wierdass compound in the end. we get graded to see if we know how to use each reaction and mechanism correctly to obtain that product.

It's really nice to read all of your PM's guys

I just got me a set of HX2's I'm a happy camper.

I don't plan to use them anytime soon, just want to have one for future use, now I'll have 2.

The box is coming. I've got a couple of freebie boxes that I can have pretty much whenever. Jeff has one for me too.

OMG. OMG. OMG. I got the Q's in last night. Rediculous. My poor car. They are louder, get lower, and sound better than the TDX's. Granted the TDX's had half the power. Same box, same amp, different ohm load. I am stoked. It is a temporary install, till I get my Eclipse HU back. Sending that out this week.

Whats wrong with the HU? Sounds sweet man. So what was the setup with the TDX's vs the setup with the Q's?

2 12's tuned to 32 hz (dont know the box size) off a DA 1500 watt amp thats "underrated" so who know how much it puts out. TDX's ran the amp at 2 ohms and the Q's run it around 1.

The HU has a bad side on the non-fader output. All of the sudden the sub am stopped getting a signal. It went out gradually. I would be driving down the road and it would cut out for varying lengths of time and one day just quit.

The Q's are dual .7's. I have a decent idea of what the amp will do at 12.4V. But it is just a calculation.

I will let Kevin chime in. He just heard it. We are going to his place to troubleshoot the Voltage issue. In one day it dropped from 14.2 to 13.2. Today it is sitting between 12.9 and 13.0. I hope it is just a battery, but either way.

The voltage issue: Stinger voltage meter FTL. Both batteries read 14.1, and the digital Stinger readout reads 13.2ish. The sole fact that the unit has to be calibrated to read the right voltage prior to installing it would make me not want to buy one.

Onto his subs: Theyre fukcing loud. Hard to do a side by side to the TDX's in his car previously since these are getting more than double the power, but they seemed like they can take gobs of power all day long. I only listened to a cd Chris had already in the deck, wasnt a great test as far as overall frequency range, but to anyone looking to get one...get one, not two. Chris and his spl are too much for a maxima. Feed just one a good amount of power and itll be plenty of bass.

Thanks Kevin. When the 8455 gets back we will do some serious tuning. I already know I will need more than what I have for a front stage. They kept up with the TDX's but not the Q's. Thinking about the Kicker SS comps, money will decide that though.

The temporary should be over. Nobody cares who is in any other forums because all they do is flame elsewhere anyway, but this change puts a huge damper on the whoring around here, which is the main reason most of us stick around. Tell your fellow mods that theyre getting money from Google ads, save it for a new server if the site is running too slow, but keep that feature.

Its temporary to try various things to speed up the site. Unfortunately the loss of the feature does nothing. The site is lagging now more than ever.

Hahahahaha. I agree. But if it is only temporary, then oh well. Atleast the site is running. ***** away......

And I still refuse to a donate to a site without a free search, because there are plenty of times at work when Directechs sucks or I need specific weird info, and I find specific forums to search, almost always finding the answer. Stuff like grounding the trip wire when installing a radio in 5.5 gens.

Oh yeah, thanks for the title change.

I have noticed it getting slower too. That change atleast didn't do it. I hope they get it figured out.
