Gordon Im thinking about getting my mom a digital camera for xmas. We had the Coolpix L3 on sale for about $140 the other day at CC. Ill probably be splitting the price of it with my bro, but still not lookin to spend much more than that. Any other ideas for good bang for the buck? I know that one at 5.1 megapixels is more than she will need, she doesnt need much at all, and it seems to get pretty good reviews online.

Here is a cool pic from that same apartment.

This is when I wished I had a better camera. And, again, I miss Tampa.

I like it. Plenty of output. I would put it up against any other box HT sub. This is the Titanic 15" with the PE 1000 watt plate amp BTW.

Oof, another hundred bucks, most of which could probably go towards my system. We'll see about that. Dont get me wrong, when buying for me, I have the opinion to do it right or dont do it at all, but its my mom.

Ive still got a Powershot A75 myself, and I cant bring myself to spend money on a new camera, because the only thing I take pics of right now is stuff I sell on the forums. Once my car is done in a couple months Ill hopefully have money to spend on stuff like this.

We just had a nice big introduction to Buddhism in my India, China, and Japan class. One of the few classes I enjoyed the hell out of.

We mainly focused on Muslim, Shinto, and Buddhism as far as religion. The class was mainly about the differing cultures and how they have changed as well as how they differ from the U.S. Come to think of it, I learned a lot in that class.

Not sure if it is based on Buddhism. It is a major religion in Japan. Most people start of, in their youth, practicing Shinto and change to Buddhism as they get older. Apparently an easy transition as they share some core values.
