didn't feel like making a new thread...but need to rant a bit...

so i sold my soundlines awhile back and such because i ordered the germaniums to replace them. so i was driving with no front stage for awhile...just strictly rear fill and bass. so...ONE FREAKIN MONTH later i still don't have my germaniums. wtf bs is this? i mean i bought them local...supporting your shop kinda deal...and yet nothing. i would have gotten the damn set within a week if i bought them 'elsewhere' . so i gave them another call and they're FINALLY being shipped and should get here early next week. One month. a tad bit too long IMO...

nothing against don but these guys are local. plus like i told him over the phone, i have a friend working at that shop. so why not support them?

but now i'm starting to question if i want to get more stuff from them...

 

Nah I know the deal...I would have done the same...but I have not stepped into a car audio shop in about 3 years.

 

heh true, but i don't consider these guys any 'ol audio shop. they do great work, but minor sh*t like these are a little irritating.

after what like 6+ weeks? He's still your buddy? If ya want I can check the status of your order for you.

well he's just one of the main fabricator of the shop...he doesn't deal with the orders. the other guy i've been calling with take care of a lot of the ordering of stuff.

 

6 weeks for something simple like Germs is too long. Especially with no front stage.

 

he's too busy dealin prescription drugs on the street to worry...

 

I have very close ties with the man in charge.

 

Especially when they are in stock and Gordo is only 2 shipping days away...means the order Never even got placed. But they sure were quick to take his money.

did they ever have any Rainbow in stock yet? Maybe theyre staving for a free freight order?

 

they usually don't have anything in stock. basically when someone shows up and wants stuff done, they order it. they got a small display case showing DLS subs, but eh...i wouldn't call that their "stock." the only thing i can see they have in stock are misc wood products like MDF sheets, plexi, etc.

 

Jeez thats just wrong, I go pick my stuff at the shop, 20 minutes away... hehehe.
