HD Radio - Feedback from users

Has anyone tried the HD radio receivers (car or home) ?

Just wondering if it's worth the money, and if you can really tell the difference in the sound quality.

you can hear the difference, its barely worth the cost of a tuner right now however. half the radio stations out there are in HD..its really not worth it yet... It will be in the future im sure though..

IMHO, XM/Sirius >>> HD radio, simply because of commercials. No way I'd use HD radio, even if the tuner was free. I can't stand the amount of commercials radio stations tend to have out here.

i have HD radio in my car, but its kinda pointless where i live. it was a waste of money, but o well. can't do anything about it now. where i live, radio sux.... so, i just listen to my ipod all the time anyways.

but there is deff a sound difference, and if you live in the city where you can get good reception, and like the radio, it may be worth it.

but ive also never had xm/sirius... (im not a monthy fee person... what so ever)

I can understand not wanting to pay a monthly fee. For me it was like going from OTA (over the air) TV channels to Cable or Satellite. Sure it isn't free, but the sheer variety, along with commercial free music is quite nice. Besides, it's only like 15-20 bucks a month. I listen to it nearly every day. If you drive a lot, it's sweet. =)
