a real one not the ones u find built in the eq's like alpine or jvc a stand alone unit.... i have one for home and in the car.....

Try it, you might like it. I had one on an Alpine deck once. Sounded just ok with deck power, then it sounded like **** when I added my amp.

I have BBE on my 11 band Alpine. I love it, makes a huge difference in the sound. Give it a try you might like it.
