i'd say try geting your hands on a diamond or any higher end amp, just used.

not much you can get for 200 bucks.

hmm, 200 can get some some mid grade stuff. hifonics still comes to mind for affordable amps.

you could save up a little more, OR you yourself pitch in some money on top of that 200 to get a nice amp to power those 12s. PM Pearl96Max...i'm sure he can help you out as he did for me and a lot on here.

Try to save up a little on your end to get a better amp. I have an older Kicker ZR 360 and it does a great job.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/06-MODEL-KICKER-Z...QQcmdZViewItem Kicker 750.1 for 178+30 shipping great amps actual rms output is over 900 watts. What are the voice coil configs on those subs? single 4 or dual 4 ohm?

kinda related

I'm sorry for hijacking this thread, but I just signed up and can't create a thread due to the new regulations (15posts min.). Today I bought a 2000 maxima, and I'm in love with it. It was a great deal, but I had to settle for the standard audio. I noticed that a lot of people complain about their bose systems, which I presume sounds quite well. So my question is this: can I install a complete bose system in my maxima (how can I get it and for how much?) or maybe it's better to get something different? I just want quality sound at a reasonable price, none of those trunk rattling uber-bassed-out systems. What are your suggestions?
Thanks.

people usually change bose stuff out, not put it in.

you can do much better with aftermarket. all you really need is a good deck, nice front speakers and an amp to power them and you're set. subs isn't a requirement.
