I blew a 140a fuse pls help.

I dont know how but when i changed my battery i blew the 140 amp Battery fuse. I purchased a new one from courtesy parts, but am having trouble changing it. So like an idiot i tried to pull it out with pliers and destroyed the plastic part. Now there are the two metal pieces exposed. Any ideas on how i can get them out?

Being it is more than likely the "anl" type fuse holder you just need to have the fuse connecting the two metal bases. Be sure to cover all exposed metal parts when u finish.

yeah I did the same thing it seems hard to get the fuse out at first but it's fairly simple. I have a 97 maxima and im just explaining to you what I did. First take the top of the box off. Then look at the bottom of the box and there should be between 4-6 little flaps that hold the bottom of the box, just take a flathead screwdriver and open each one, and also ther are like two hidden ones furthest from the battery. After you have gotten those off the bottom should slide down reveiling the two screws that are holding your fuse. Hope this helps you out with your problem
