Aftermarket HU in a 2001 Max no wipers or cruise control

I have a buddy who just installed an aftermarket HU in a 2001 Max and when finished his wipers and cruise didn't work any longer. Any body have any idea or reason and fix for this problem?

No one has any recommendations on this subject? Did he just not reconnect everything or what?

Most likely blew a fuse especially if the battery wasn't disconnected during the install.
