OBD II Scanner / Super Gauge?

So I was looking into getting some gauge for my car, battery voltage and intake air temp, but was also looking for an OBD II Scanner and came across this little gadget:

http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadgets/electronic/8426/

Any thoughts? It take fuel economy, all the gauges, and is an OBD II sensor. Sound like a good idea?

I don't need an AFC, just something to gauge and monitor with, besides

Apexi Neo - $469 MSRP
ScanGauge - $169

Saving $300 and losing the ability to control the Air/Fuel

They sell around $310, not bad for something $469 MSRP

But for my application, I don't really need to be adjusting anything just yet, if anything I'd screw something up. Do you think the OP'd scanner is worth the money with the features it has?

looks alright. lucky for me i have an 02 max. has that standard built into the dash. im actualy saveing up to buy a pioneer reciever that will tell you all that and then some. http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pn...671418,00.html for like 150 (cheeper online) you can add the car interface and it will tell you a lot more, plus its a good headunit that plays dvds. but for a couple hundred i figur that device your looking at will do. i use the in dash meter all the time. dont forget autozone will let you barrow a scanner for you car any time the check engin light comes on for free.

i think for the price and what your looking for its not bad. but in the future i think the extra 100 for the afc neo would be more worth it.

For a second I thought you meant $150 for the unit XD $1,400 is a little out of my range heh. I guess I'm going to go with the $170 one I picked out, I'm not ready to tune and the cheap price tag is nice. I was mainly just wondering if anybody's seen or heard bad things about this unit

I was trying to set something up like this with my pda a couple years ago but it was the same price not to mention I'd have to sacrifice my pda to use it.

That pioneer looks really nice but it looks like its almost half the value of my car.
