AUX Question Alpine 9830

Anyone know how to turn on the amp for the aux inputs? I have my ipod hooked up to them, but it wont work (with nearly any volume) without it being amped, is there a way to get the HU to amplify the signal?

Thanks

Been awhile but... Turn off the HU, then hold down the "func" key for about 10 sec. Menu will appear, go over to AUX and turn in on. Hope that helps.

Ahh, sorry i explained that poorly, I have the AUX input turned on, but the HU is not amplifying the signal thats going into the input, so my Ipod is hooked up but it wont play at any real volume level, anyone know how to or if its even possible to make the HU amplify this signal?

Thanks

I know there is a way, I have seen it before. It lets you turn up the CD...Tuner...AUX inputs. I don't remember how to do it but you just have to mess with it.
