amp turns on but power to the sub??

My arc audio KAR900.1D amp was hooked up on my arc audio flatline 12D4 sub, it worked when i parked my 1990 maxima about 2 months ago, i swapped it into my new 2000 maxima, and i cant get any sound, it didnt either right before i pulled it out of the old max but i figured it was just a loose wire in the box, well i know the sub works cause we hooked it up on my home stereo and it would play, we've replaced all the wires going to the sub from that amp and still nothing, it turns on but it wont put any power to the sub, even swapped RCA cables, has my amp gone bad??

pretty sure not, however when it was in my old max the heater core had been leaking, seemed like it'd been leaking a long time, but there is NO way it could've affected the amp with it being in the trunk

Might be time to send it in for a check up. Is it still under warranty?

Did you swap the head unit into the new car too? If so, does the head unit have a separate sub pre-out that could have gone bad? One way to test this is to use an RCA output from the head unit that you know works, or turn the car on so that the amp is on and use an MP3 player with a 1/8" mini-to-RCA cable as an input to the amp.

yea i swapped in my pioneer cd player, the way we tested it was to swap the RCA's from the sub outputs to the rear outputs and it didn't affect anything, and the amp isn't under warrenty, i bought it from someone on the org back this summer and i don't remember who it was
